The elongated form places the center of gravity at the bottom, giving a vertical profile that slips through water and structure without slowing descent. Its triangular cross-section reduces unwanted rolling when it settles, so it’s far less likely to tumble into rock gaps and cause snags compared with conventional round sinkers.
